Dog Training - Day Trains

Day trains combine the best elements of board and trains and in-home lessons.  These lessons are our second favorite (after private lessons) venue for teaching new behaviors and creating long-term change. 
If you're feeling overwhelmed, busy, have limitations or are otherwise struggling with getting started with training, day trains may be a good fit for you and your dog.  We take your dog during the day, work with them during the day at our home or out on field trips and treat them as our own dog (honestly usually better), and you get to take them home in the evening.
We will give you updates and videos on their progress and teach you how to continue and upkeep their new routines and behaviors.  You can choose to bring them back as often as you'd like as long as day trains are a good fit for your dog.  This option is usually much less stressful for dogs than board and trains.  It's also a better option for owners as it allows them to be more involved in the early training process on a day-to-day basis and keep a strong bond with their dog.
We'll start with shorter sessions and increase time based on how your dog responds to working with us without you there.  If they become too stressed or let us know they're done, we'll contact you to give some options on how we can proceed.  You must be available for pickup if necessary during the first day train trial.
This is a good option for dogs of all ages.  We do ask that any dogs who come for day trains be healthy and show no signs of illness, parasites or injuries. We do accept in-tact dogs but we will not take a female who's currently in heat.
Puppies under 4 months of age must have at least 2 sets of puppy shots completed.
